Information we collect

When you submit an Early Access or community form, we may collect your name, email address, country, camera details, operating system, experience level and optional workflow feedback. Technical anti-spam information such as submission time and IP-derived rate-limit records may also be processed for security.

How we use it

Your information is used to manage Early Access requests, communicate product updates, operate the private beta, understand wildlife photography workflows and improve SelectB. We do not sell personal information.

Email delivery

SelectB uses Brevo as an email delivery provider for registration confirmations and product communication. Brevo processes the email address and message-delivery information needed to send these messages.

Analytics and cookies

With your consent, SelectB uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, device categories, referral sources and Early Access interactions, and Microsoft Clarity to understand anonymised interaction patterns such as clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session recordings. These tools may store first-party analytics cookies after consent. Advertising features are disabled. Sensitive form fields are not intentionally recorded for analytics. You may decline analytics through the website notice.

Image data and training contributions

The website does not upload your photographs. Any future request for sample photographs or training contributions will be optional and require explicit consent. Images will never be uploaded automatically by the website.

Storage and protection

Form submissions are stored in a protected SQLite database with operational CSV or JSON backups outside the public website area. Access is restricted to authorised administration functions. Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored information, although no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Early Access and community information is retained while it remains relevant to the beta programme, product launch and related communication. You may request correction or deletion by emailing connect@selectb.in. Records required for security, legal compliance or backup integrity may be retained for a limited period.

Your choices

You may decline optional analytics, unsubscribe from non-essential email communication, or ask SelectB to correct or delete your registration information.
